HF102 Enerpac Hydraulic Oil supplies five gallons of Enerpac HF Series hydraulic fluid for powered pumps. Unlike a single five-gallon pail, Enerpac specifies HF102 as two 2.5-gallon containers. The oil itself is the same blue ISO VG 32 HF formulation used in the other current HF Series package sizes.
Five Gallons of Enerpac HF Oil, Packed as Two Containers
The HF102 package is useful when more oil is required than the one-quart HF100 or one-gallon HF101 sizes provide, while still keeping the total quantity divided between two containers. Each container holds Enerpac HF hydraulic oil formulated for power-pump operation.
Enerpac designed HF oil to perform several functions inside a hydraulic system. In addition to transmitting hydraulic power, the fluid provides lubrication and heat transfer while helping protect internal components against corrosion and deposits. The HF formulation includes anti-sludge, anti-rust, anti-foam and anti-oxidation additives and is engineered to help prevent cavitation.
Keep Replacement Hydraulic Oil Clean
Enerpac places particular emphasis on cleanliness during hydraulic maintenance. Contamination can degrade fluid and affect equipment performance. Water contamination can contribute to corrosion, foaming and reduced lubrication, while air entering the fluid can lead to aeration and cavitation. Enerpac recommends using new oil from a clean container and keeping connections and service areas free from dirt and moisture.
