Choosing the Right General Purpose Hydraulic Cylinder
Start by determining the load capacity and stroke required for the application. Capacity determines how much force the cylinder can safely produce, while stroke determines how far the plunger can extend. What is new in the RC-TRIO
RC-TRIO is Enerpac's current version of the RC Series. Enerpac kept the model numbers, external dimensions and threads the same as earlier RC cylinders, so existing systems and accessories carry over.

Use only 80 percent of the rating
Enerpac states that rated load and stroke are maximum safe limits, and that good practice is to use only 80 percent of them. For lifting, size the cylinder so the load is no more than 80 percent of its capacity.
