Enerpac MP Series multifluid hydraulic hand pumps are designed for testing, filling and other applications where standard hydraulic-oil-only pumps may not provide the required fluid compatibility or corrosion resistance. The range includes the MP110, MP350, MP700 and MP1000, with maximum operating pressures from 1,500 to 14,500 psi.
All MP Series pumps use two-speed operation, corrosion-resistant construction and an external hydraulic reservoir. An impregnated anodized-aluminum pump housing and stainless-steel internal pumping components make the series well suited for demanding industrial and testing environments.
Choose the Right Enerpac MP Series Pump
The four MP Series models share the same basic pump architecture but are designed for different maximum operating pressures.
- MP110: maximum pressure of 1,500 psi.
- MP350: maximum pressure of 5,000 psi.
- MP700: maximum pressure of 10,000 psi.
- MP1000: maximum pressure of 14,500 psi.
Select the model based on the maximum pressure required by the test system, tool or process. All connected hoses, gauges, valves, fittings and other hydraulic components must be rated for the selected system pressure.
Two-Speed Hand Pump Operation
MP Series pumps use two-speed operation to reduce the amount of manual pumping required during system filling. The first stage operates up to 500 psi and delivers 3.2 in³ of fluid per handle stroke.
As pressure increases, the pump transitions to a lower-displacement high-pressure stage. High-pressure displacement varies by model:
- MP110: 1.28 in³ per stroke.
- MP350: 0.43 in³ per stroke.
- MP700: 0.18 in³ per stroke.
- MP1000: 0.12 in³ per stroke.
Multifluid Compatibility
Enerpac MP Series pumps are supplied with standard nitrile seals suitable for use with fluids including demineralized water, oil/water emulsions, water-glycol solutions, mineral oils and hydraulic fluids.
Enerpac also offers custom EPDM seal configurations for applications involving Skydrol or brake fluids. Fluid and seal compatibility should always be confirmed before operating the pump with a nonstandard hydraulic fluid.
Corrosion-Resistant Construction
MP Series pumps use an impregnated anodized-aluminum pump housing with stainless-steel internal pumping components. This construction provides increased corrosion resistance for testing and filling applications where water-based or other compatible fluids may be used.
External Reservoir Required
Unlike conventional hand pumps with an integral oil reservoir, MP110, MP350, MP700 and MP1000 pumps require an external reservoir. Each pump provides suction/tank return and pressure connections for integration into the hydraulic system.
Enerpac specifies a 3/8"-18 NPTF suction/tank return port, a 3/8"-18 NPTF pressure port and a 1/4"-18 NPTF gauge port across the MP Series.
Adjustable Pressure Protection
Each MP Series pump includes an externally adjustable pressure-relief valve. This allows the maximum hydraulic pressure to be set appropriately for the application while providing protection against unintended system overpressure.
