WUD1101E is an Enerpac Workholding Electric Hydraulic Pump configured around single-acting advance / auto-retract operation. Because the valve function is advance/auto-retract, this is not the same choice as a hold-capable pump. Select it when the connected single-acting tool is meant to return as hydraulic pressure is released.
The WU economy pump family is designed for portable workholding service, and its universal motor is suited to long extension cords or generator-driven electrical supplies. For single-acting equipment, WUD1101E uses an electric dump valve with advance / auto-retract functionality. Power input is 220V, single phase, 50/60 Hz. That requirement should be matched to the facility, generator or jobsite supply.
The Practical Difference With WUD1101E
Check the hydraulic system's total oil demand against the 1.0 gal reservoir before final selection.
If the shortlist includes WUD1100E, focus on the configuration change: reservoir capacity is 1.0 gal on WUD1101E versus 0.5 gal on WUD1100E. The remaining shared family characteristics should not obscure that difference.
