Genuine Enerpac repair parts for ZU4, ZE, XC, TQ-700 and P series pumps, from valves and motors to gaskets and seals. Not sure it fits? Send us your pump's model number and we will confirm the part before it ships.
Which Enerpac pump do you have?
Parts are specific to the pump series, and often to the model and production version. Use this table to find your pump family, then match the part number on your pump's repair parts sheet.
| Pump series | Power source | What sets it apart | Parts often replaced |
|---|---|---|---|
| ZU4 | Electric, portable | Z-Class high-efficiency pump, universal motor, composite shroud; Pro models have an LCD with hour and cycle counts | Valves, pendants, power boards, shrouds |
| ZE | Electric, industrial | Totally enclosed fan-cooled motor, built-in adjustable relief valve, sight glass, 40 micron filter breather | Motors, reservoirs, relief valves, breathers, electrical boxes |
| ZW | Electric, 5,000 psi | Induction motor, steel reservoir, replaceable piston check valves | Check valves, reservoirs, seals |
| PU and PUD | Electric, economy | For small to medium tools and single-acting cylinders | Valves, repair kits |
| XC | Cordless battery | Brushless motor, bladder reservoir that works in any position | Handles, relays, valve seal kits |
| ZA4 | Air, two-speed | Factory-set and user-adjustable relief valves, optional heat exchanger | Air motor parts, relief valves |
| XA | Air, foot-operated | Closed hydraulic system, usable in any position | Pump and valve seal kits |
| TQ-700 | Electric, torque wrench pump | Three-stage pump, standard heat exchanger, brushless motor; runs S, W, RSL, DSX and HMT wrenches | Seal kits, valve kits, tubes |
| LU | Electric, torque wrench pump | Compact pump for intermittent bolting, 20 ft pendant cord | Gauges, pendants |
| ZUTP | Electric, bolt tensioning | Two-stage pump rated to 21,750 psi | Electrical assemblies, shrouds |
| P series | Hand, single or two-speed | 10,000 psi steel and lightweight models | Release valves, repair kits, handles |
Troubleshooting: match the symptom to the likely part
Enerpac's instruction sheets list these causes for the most common pump problems.
| Symptom | Causes Enerpac lists | Parts that may be involved |
|---|---|---|
| Cylinder does not advance or advances slowly | Low oil level, release valve open, loose couplers, air in the system | Release or relief valve, couplers |
| Cylinder advances but will not hold pressure | Leaking connections or seals, internal pump leakage | Seals, O-rings, check valves, seal kit |
| Cylinder will not retract | Overfilled reservoir, loose couplers, air in the system, blocked flow | Couplers, valves |
| Electric pump stops or shows an alarm | Thermal overload or protection device tripped | Motor, power board, electrical components |
Hydraulic equipment should be serviced by a qualified hydraulic technician, as Enerpac's instructions state.
Keep your pump running longer
- Use Enerpac hydraulic oil. Enerpac's instruction sheets call for Enerpac oil to protect pump life and the warranty. See Enerpac Hydraulic Oil.
- Change the oil on schedule. Enerpac's hand pump instructions say to drain and refill with clean oil every 12 months, and more often in dirty environments. Electric pump manuals set intervals in operating hours; the SFP split-flow pump, for example, calls for draining the reservoir and replacing the filter every 250 hours. Check your pump's instruction sheet for its interval.
- Check the oil level before each use, and fill only to the level mark.
- Keep dirt out. Screw dust caps onto couplers whenever they are disconnected. Enerpac warns that dirt in the system can cause pump, cylinder and valve failure.
Finding the right part number
- Find the model number on your pump's nameplate.
- Look up the repair parts sheet for that model; it lists every part by number and position.
- Match that part number to our listing. Some parts changed between production versions, so if anything does not match, call (704) 463-1070 before ordering.
