Genuine Enerpac repair parts for hydraulic torque wrenches and torque multipliers, including ratchet kits, drive plates, side plates, spacers and reaction parts. Not sure it fits? Send us your wrench's model number and we will confirm the part before it ships.
Which Enerpac wrench do you have?
Torque wrench parts are specific to the wrench family, the size and often the edition. Use this table to find your family, then match the part number on its repair parts sheet.
| Wrench family | Drive type | What sets it apart | Parts often replaced |
|---|---|---|---|
| S Series | Square drive | Single-body steel construction, 35 degree rotation angle, accuracy of plus or minus 3 percent across the full stroke (Enerpac) | Spare parts kits, side plate bushings, square drive kits |
| W Series | Low profile hexagon | Hexagon cassette wrenches; PX models have the Pro Series swivel | Ratchet kits, cassette hardware, reaction parts |
| HMT | Modular drive unit | One drive unit runs HLP low profile or HSQ square drive cassettes | Drive plate kits, side plate kits, ratchets, spacers |
| RSL | Slimline hexagon cassette or RSQ square drive | Slim cassettes for tight bolt spacing | Pistons, square drive kits, hex housing kits |
| DSX | Aluminum square drive | Lighter aluminum body | Call with your model number |
| Torque multipliers | Manual, geared | Gear-driven torque multiplication | Pinion inputs, pawl selectors, square drive kits, ring gears |
Match the edition. X-Edition model numbers end in X, and parts can differ from the standard edition of the same size. Enerpac notes, for example, that the TSP300 tilt and swivel manifold fits X-Edition tools only.
What the main parts do
| Part | Role in the wrench |
|---|---|
| Ratchet and ratchet kit | Turns the nut or square drive on each stroke of the piston. On hexagon cassettes the ratchet is sized to the nut. |
| Ratchet bush | Supports the ratchet inside the cassette or housing. |
| Drive plate and side plate kits | Hold the ratchet and pawls in position in the cassette. |
| Front spacer and reaction block spacer | Set the fit between the drive unit, cassette and reaction point. |
| Square drive kit | Replaces the square drive on square drive wrenches. S Series wrenches have a push button release so the drive can be reversed for tightening or loosening. |
| Reaction arm and reaction parts | Hold the wrench against an adjacent nut or fixed point. The S Series uses a 360 degree click-on reaction arm. |
| Swivel manifold | Connects the hoses and lets them turn as the wrench is positioned. |
Keep your wrench accurate and in service
- Use twin safety hoses. Enerpac specifies its THQ700 twin hoses with 10,000 psi pumps. See Hydraulic Hoses and Torque Wrench Pumps.
- Lubricate the fastener. Enerpac's TWMPS503 moly paste gives a friction coefficient of 0.06 (torque coefficient K of 0.11) and stays in place from minus 20 to 750 degrees F, according to Enerpac.
- Keep the calibration certificate. Enerpac ships S Series X-Edition wrenches with one. If you replace drive train parts, check your quality procedure for recalibration.
- Rebuild with a kit. Seal kits are listed by wrench model in Torque Wrench Seal Kits.
Hydraulic equipment should be serviced by a qualified hydraulic technician, as Enerpac's instructions state.
Finding the right part number
- Find the model number on the drive unit and, for hexagon wrenches, on the cassette.
- Look up the repair parts sheet for that model; it lists every part by number and position.
- Match that part number to our listing. Some parts changed between editions and revisions, so if anything does not match, call (704) 463-1070 before ordering.
