P464 Enerpac ULTIMA Steel Hand Pump combines the largest ULTIMA reservoir with four-way directional control for double-acting cylinders. It is the manual-power option to consider when the application needs both a 453 in³ oil supply and hydraulic control in both advance and retract directions.
Extra Capacity for Double-Acting Systems
Large double-acting cylinders require enough oil not only to extend the plunger but also to power the return stroke. P464 addresses that requirement with an extra-capacity reservoir and a four-way, three-position control valve. Enerpac also gives the pump a high first-stage flow rate so a large cylinder can approach the work without excessive handle cycling.
The ULTIMA steel construction is intended for hard industrial use, with a chromed plunger, wiper system and protected reservoir design. The pump reaches 10,000 psi in its high-pressure stage after automatically transitioning from high-flow operation.
For a single-acting application with the same reservoir capacity, P462 is the simpler match; P464 should be chosen when powered retraction or another double-acting function is required.
