Enerpac HPT and HPN hydraulic hand pumps provide ultra-high-pressure manual hydraulic power specifically for bolt tensioning applications. The range includes the HPT1500, rated to 21,755 psi, and the HPN2000, rated to 29,000 psi.
Both pumps are designed for use with hydraulic bolt tensioners and hydraulic nuts. Enerpac specifically states that HPT and HPN pumps are not intended for hydraulic cylinders or equipment used for lifting or supporting loads.
Enerpac HPT1500 Hand Pump
The Enerpac HPT1500 is a two-speed ultra-high-pressure hand pump with a maximum operating pressure of 21,755 psi. It provides 155 in³ of usable oil capacity and includes a pressure gauge and hydraulic coupling for connection to compatible bolt-tensioning equipment.
The first pumping stage operates up to approximately 200 psi and delivers 0.687 in³ of oil per handle stroke. At higher pressure, the pump automatically transitions to the second stage, which delivers 0.151 in³ per stroke.
Enerpac HPN2000 Hand Pump
The Enerpac HPN2000 provides the same two-speed pumping architecture and 155 in³ usable oil capacity but increases maximum operating pressure to 29,000 psi.
Like the HPT1500, the HPN2000 includes a pressure gauge and coupling and is intended specifically for hydraulic nuts and bolt tensioners.

Two-Speed Bolt Tensioning Pump Operation
The two-stage design moves a larger volume of hydraulic oil during initial system filling. As pressure reaches approximately 200 psi, the pump automatically transitions to the high-pressure stage. This reduces the number of handle strokes required to advance the tensioning equipment before high pressure is needed.
Ultra-High-Pressure Hydraulic Safety
HPT and HPN pumps operate at pressures substantially above conventional 10,000 psi hydraulic systems. Hoses, couplings, gauges, fittings and tensioning equipment must be rated for the operating pressure of the selected pump. Do not substitute standard hydraulic components in an ultra-high-pressure system.
