HPN2000 Enerpac HPN Series Hand Pump is built for the pressure demands of hydraulic bolt tensioners and hydraulic nuts rather than general cylinder lifting. Its 29,000 psi capability places it in Enerpac’s ultra-high-pressure bolting range, where the pump, hose, fittings and connected tooling must all be selected for the same pressure class.
For High-Pressure Bolt Tensioning Work
The HPN2000 uses two-stage pumping. The first stage moves more oil while pressure is low, then the pump shifts automatically to the high-pressure stage as resistance increases. That arrangement reduces unnecessary handle strokes during initial tool movement while preserving the controlled flow needed as tensioning pressure rises.
Enerpac supplies the HPN and HPT pumps with a 155 in³ usable reservoir and a pressure gauge so the operator can monitor the hydraulic pressure applied to the tensioning system. These pumps may be used horizontally or vertically with the discharge port down, which is useful when space around a flange or bolted joint dictates how the pump must be positioned.
This is a specialized bolting pump. Enerpac specifically identifies the HPN/HPT range for hydraulic nuts and bolt tensioners, not for routine hydraulic-cylinder lifting or support work.
