P142ALSS Enerpac Extreme Environment Hand Pump keeps the compact operating characteristics of the P142 while changing the construction for corrosive or chemically aggressive work areas. It combines aluminum and stainless-steel components with the 20 in³, two-speed, 10,000 psi hydraulic format.
Built for Conditions Where Standard Materials Are Not Ideal
Enerpac recommends corrosion-resistant pump materials for extreme environments such as oil and gas or petrochemical service. The ALSS configuration answers that requirement with materials selected to better tolerate exposure than a standard lightweight composite/aluminum pump.
The small reservoir keeps the pump portable, while two-speed operation reduces the number of handle strokes needed to advance a compatible single-acting cylinder or tool before load is encountered. Once pressure rises, the pump shifts to its lower-displacement high-pressure stage.
P142ALSS is best chosen because of the environment, not simply because of pressure: a standard P142 reaches the same pressure class. For more usable oil while retaining the extreme-environment construction, P392ALSS provides a larger reservoir and higher first-stage displacement.
