P18 Enerpac Low-Pressure Hand Pump is a compact 2,850 psi single-speed pump for single-acting cylinders and tools. Enerpac specifically uses the P18 as an example of choosing lower-pressure equipment when a full 10,000 psi system is unnecessary.
Lower Pressure Can Be the Better Match
Choosing a pump with more pressure than the application needs adds no benefit if the connected tool is designed for a lower working range. P18 provides a smaller 18 in³ reservoir and moderate displacement per stroke, making it suitable for low-volume circuits where portability matters.
The pump includes an external load-release valve and internal pressure-relief protection. Enerpac also specifies an orientation requirement for vertical operation: the pump head must face downward.
For a larger low-pressure oil supply, compare P25 or P50. P51 provides 50 in³ of oil at 3,000 psi but is intended for horizontal operation only.
