P2282 Enerpac Ultra-High-Pressure Hand Pump is a two-speed pump for systems requiring pressures far above the standard 10,000 psi industrial hydraulic range. With a 40,000 psi maximum rating, it belongs with Enerpac’s dedicated ultra-high-pressure fittings, tubing and gauges rather than conventional cylinder-system components.
Two-Speed Pumping for a 40,000 psi System
P2282 moves nearly 1 in³ per stroke during the low-pressure stage, then shifts to a very small displacement as pressure climbs. That large change in flow is deliberate: it shortens the approach portion of the cycle while allowing controlled pressure generation at the extreme upper end of the pump’s range.
Enerpac warns that its ultra-high-pressure pumps do not incorporate the same internal safety pressure-relief arrangement found on many standard hydraulic hand pumps. System design therefore depends on using the correct rated pressure-control and connection components.
Choose P2282 only when the application genuinely calls for a 40,000 psi two-speed hand pump. For stainless-steel single-speed configurations, the P/11 family includes 11-100 and 11-400 alternatives.
