ZA4408MX Enerpac ZA4 Air Hydraulic Pump gives a double-acting circuit 1.8 gallons of oil capacity—more than ZA4404MX without moving into the larger 2.6-, 5.2- or 10.3-gallon reservoirs.
A Small Step Up in Reservoir Capacity
Its 4-way, 3-position valve keeps the hydraulic function the same as the rest of the ZA44 models: powered advance, hold and retract for compatible double-acting cylinders. The selection question is therefore whether 1.8 gallons provides enough oil for the cylinder displacement and connected hoses.
At rated pressure, Enerpac lists 80 in³/min at 10,000 psi. If the application needs more reserve oil while keeping the same double-acting valve arrangement, ZA4410MX is the next larger model at 2.6 gallons.
