ZE3840MB-FGR Enerpac Electric Hydraulic Pump, VM43L Locking Manual Valve, 10.3 gal, 115V, Filter, Gauge, Roll Cage

The Enerpac ZE3840MB-FGR is a ZE3-Series electric hydraulic pump set up for double-acting cylinders that need positive load holding, with a pilot-operated check valve that locks the load hydraulically until the valve is shifted to retract. It is built for shops and job sites with standard 115V outlets. It comes factory-fitted with a return line filter, a 0–15,000 psi pressure gauge and a roll cage; the roll cage protects the pump in field and job-site use. ZE3 is the entry flow group of the ZE range; the ZE4, ZE5 and ZE6 deliver 60, 120 and 200 in³/min for larger or multiple cylinders.

Sizing

As a two-stage pump, the ZE3840MB-FGR delivers about 450 in³/min at 100 psi and 385 in³/min at 700 psi, so cylinders move quickly to the load, then drops to 40 in³/min at 10,000 psi. Moving 100 in³ of oil under full load takes about 150 seconds. The 10.3 gal reservoir holds 2,379 in³ of usable oil; keep the combined oil capacity of all connected cylinders comfortably below that figure. Flow figures are at 60 Hz; on 50 Hz power expect about 5/6 of these values.

Compared with the ZE3840MB, this model adds a return line filter, a 0–15,000 psi pressure gauge and a roll cage.

Before you order: 115V ZE pumps ship with a 15-amp plug, and Enerpac recommends a 20-amp circuit for frequent full-pressure use; check total cylinder oil volume against the 2,379 in³ of usable oil.
