AHB34 Enerpac Air-Hydraulic Booster occupies the center of the pressure-versus-volume tradeoff in the AHB range. Its 1:34 ratio provides 2,550 psi hydraulic output at 75 psi air and 3,460 psi at 100 psi, while delivering 8.5 in³ per stroke.

AHB34 is useful when the circuit needs more oil each cycle than AHB46 or AHB66 can provide but still requires materially more pressure multiplication than AHB17. It is therefore a strong comparison point for automated clamps or punches with moderate pressure and volume demand.
The AHB architecture uses a double-acting one-shot air piston for fast repeated cycles. Enerpac also specifies a fiberglass-wound air chamber to reduce corrosion risk associated with moisture in shop air.
