AHB46 Enerpac Air-Hydraulic Booster balances substantial pressure multiplication with more oil delivery per stroke than AHB66. Its 1:46 ratio produces 3,450 psi at 75 psi air and 4,600 psi at 100 psi air, with 6.1 in³ delivered per hydraulic stroke.
A Mid-High Pressure AHB Choice
The selection advantage is balance. AHB46 does not reach the 1:64 ratio of AHB66, but it moves more oil each cycle; compared with AHB34 and AHB17, it gives up some stroke volume in exchange for higher hydraulic pressure.
Like the other AHB models, it uses a double-acting, one-shot air piston for production cycling. Enerpac's fiberglass-wound air chamber is intended to avoid the rust problems that moisture can create in conventional air chambers.
