AHB66 Enerpac Air-Hydraulic Booster is the pressure-focused end of the AHB family. Its 1:64 pressure ratio produces 4,800 psi hydraulic output from 75 psi air, while oil delivery is 4.5 in³ per stroke.
Maximum Pressure Multiplication in the AHB Group
AHB66 is the model to evaluate when available shop-air pressure is limited and the hydraulic circuit needs the highest pressure multiplication. The tradeoff is per-stroke oil volume: as pressure ratio rises, the amount of oil delivered per cycle is lower than on AHB46, AHB34 or AHB17.
Enerpac designs AHB boosters for automated production workholding. The double-acting one-shot air piston supports rapid cycling, and the fiberglass-wound air chamber reduces rust risk from moisture in the compressed-air system.
