The Enerpac CATS100 is a tilt saddle for 50-100 ton HCL and RC-series cylinders, and 50-75 ton RR-series cylinders. It tilts up to 5 degrees to keep full contact with a load that is not square to the cylinder.
Side load is one of the most common causes of cylinder damage. It can happen even with a vertical load when the cylinder is extended a long way, especially with long-stroke cylinders, or when the saddle does not sit flat on the load. A tilt saddle increases contact with the load and helps protect the cylinder. Enerpac CATS tilt saddles bolt to the cylinder, so they can be used safely in any orientation without falling off.
