The Enerpac CST4381 is a single-acting, spring-return threaded body cylinder from the CST series, rated 980 lb at 5,000 psi with a 1.49 in stroke. Its .750-16 UNF body thread lets you screw it straight into a fixture or bracket and set the plunger height exactly, which makes it a compact choice for positioning, holding and ejecting parts where space is tight.

Effective area is 0.20 in² and a full stroke uses 0.29 in³ of oil. The CST4381 is 4.27 in long retracted and 5.76 in extended and weighs 0.7 lb. Workholding circuits often run below 5,000 psi; at 2,000 psi this cylinder gives about 400 lb of force and at 3,000 psi about 600 lb.
