HCR1002 Enerpac 100 Ton Double-Acting High-Tonnage Cylinder, 1.97 in Stroke, 113 Ton Max Capacity

The Enerpac HCR1002 is a 100-ton class double-acting cylinder from the HCR-Series high-tonnage range, with a 1.97 in stroke and a maximum capacity of 113 tons at 10,150 psi. As a double-acting cylinder it is powered in both directions, for fast advance and retract and for applications where there is no load to push the plunger back, such as pushing, pressing and pulling.

Sizing

The HCR1002 has an effective area of 22.19 in² and needs 43.67 in³ of oil to advance its full stroke and 22.05 in³ to retract. It is 7.95 in tall collapsed and about 9.92 in extended. Choose a pump with at least 48 in³ of usable oil; a ZE pump with a 1.2 gal (277 in³) reservoir or larger covers a single cylinder. Under full load, a ZE4 pump (60 in³/min at 10,000 psi) takes about 0.7 minutes to complete the stroke and a ZE5 (120 in³/min) about 0.4 minutes; under light load two-stage pumps move it much faster.
