P801 Enerpac ULTIMA Steel Hand Pump provides 250 in³ of usable oil for single-acting systems that need more capacity than P80 but do not require the very large 453 in³ P462. It is a two-speed 10,000 psi pump designed for demanding manual hydraulic work.
When Reservoir Capacity Is the Main Constraint
Hand-pump selection often comes down to whether the reservoir can fully stroke the connected cylinder. Enerpac advises sizing oil capacity to the actual hydraulic requirement, because larger reservoirs increase capability but also add weight. P801 occupies the upper-middle position in the ULTIMA range for that reason.
Two-speed operation shortens the low-pressure approach portion of the cycle, while the steel body, chromed plunger and wiper system are designed for long service life. The pump uses manual release control for single-acting equipment.
Choose P801 when P80 is short on oil capacity but the extra size of P462 is unnecessary. That keeps the manual system closer to the actual volume requirement.
