P84 Enerpac ULTIMA Steel Hand Pump is the double-acting counterpart to the P80. Both use the same 134 in³ reservoir class, but P84 incorporates a four-way, three-position valve so hydraulic pressure can be directed to both sides of a double-acting cylinder.
Powered Advance and Retract from a Manual Pump
A double-acting cylinder requires more than a release valve because the return stroke is hydraulically powered. P84 provides the directional control needed for that circuit while retaining the portability and independence of a hand-operated power source.
The pump uses two-speed operation for fast approach and controlled high-pressure work up to 10,000 psi. Its ULTIMA construction is all steel and includes Enerpac’s chromed plunger and wiper design for industrial durability.
Do not choose P84 simply because it has a four-way valve; reservoir volume still has to match both sides of the connected cylinder. For significantly larger double-acting systems, P464 provides the same control concept with a 453 in³ reservoir.
