P842 Enerpac Lightweight Hand Pump is designed for double-acting cylinders that need the oil capacity of the 155 in³ lightweight platform. Its integral four-way valve distinguishes it from the P802, which uses the same large-reservoir pump format for single-acting equipment.
Double-Acting Control Without Moving to a Steel Power Unit
The first stage provides high oil displacement for rapid movement before load is reached, and the pump automatically transitions to the high-pressure stage for operation to 10,000 psi. The four-way valve then gives the operator positive hydraulic control over both extension and retraction.
Enerpac uses a glass-filled nylon reservoir and nylon-encapsulated aluminum pump base to reduce weight and resist corrosion. A non-conductive fiberglass handle and carrying lock make the P842 suitable for field work where a powered pump is not practical.
For double-acting systems with a smaller oil requirement, P84 uses a 134 in³ steel ULTIMA platform; P842 favors lighter construction and a slightly larger usable reservoir.
