The Selection Logic
RCH-202 provides 20-ton capacity and 2 inches of stroke. It is a practical mid-light hollow-cylinder choice when 12 tons is not enough but the job does not call for the larger 30-ton frame.
The air pump is most useful when cycle frequency or cylinder oil demand makes hand pumping less attractive. It keeps the hydraulic system portable while using compressed air as the energy source.
The RCH family is selected for its hollow-plunger push/pull capability. If the application does not need that center-hole geometry, a solid-plunger RC or low-height RCS set may be simpler.
