High Force Where a Taller Cylinder Will Not Fit
This is not simply a larger version of the 30- or 50-ton RCS sets. At 100 tons, cylinder size and oil demand become more significant, so the application should justify both the force requirement and the low-height geometry before a manual-pump package is selected.
The hand pump keeps the system independent of electricity and compressed air, which can be useful for occasional field lifts. For repeated operation, however, the amount of manual pumping required at this capacity is an important practical consideration.
