Choose It for Travel, Not Just 25-Ton Capacity
This set makes sense when the job needs a substantial working range and reducing cylinder repositioning is worth the taller cylinder package. A buyer who only needs a short lift can use a much shorter RC cylinder at the same nominal capacity.
The manual pump keeps the set independent of external power, but Enerpac notes that cylinders of 25 tons and above can require many hand-pump strokes, especially with longer-stroke applications. For frequent cycling, the air-powered SCR2514XA deserves comparison because it uses the same long-stroke cylinder concept with powered pumping.
