SCR256XA Enerpac Hydraulic Cylinder & Air Pump Set is the powered-air version built around the 25-ton RC-256 cylinder. With 6.25 inches of stroke, it provides considerably more travel than the 2- and 4-inch RC options while avoiding the extreme length of the 14.25-inch RC-2514.
Mid-to-Long Travel with Powered Cycling
The RC-256 is a useful choice when a short 25-ton cylinder would require too much repositioning but the longest-stroke model would be unnecessary. Enerpac’s RC family is the general-purpose solid-plunger option, so the set remains focused on versatile lifting and positioning rather than low-height or hollow-cylinder work.
Compressed-air pumping changes the practical use of this cylinder. In a shop or service environment with reliable air available, powered cycling can be preferable to the SCR256H hand-pump version when the cylinder is operated repeatedly or when manual pumping effort is a concern.
Select SCR256XA when the 25-ton, 6.25-inch RC cylinder is mechanically right for the task and an air-powered hydraulic source fits the work site.
