CDT40251 Enerpac Double-Acting Threaded Body Cylinder, 8,800 lb Push / 5,870 lb Pull, 0.99 in Stroke

The Enerpac CDT40251 is a double-acting threaded body cylinder from the CDT series. Hydraulic pressure drives it both ways, giving 8,800 lb pushing and 5,870 lb pulling at 5,000 psi over a 0.99 in stroke. Because the retract stroke is powered, you can fit clamping accessories to the plunger for push and pull action, and it suits high-cycle work such as production punching.

Sizing

Effective area is 1.76 in² pushing and 1.17 in² pulling. A full stroke uses 1.73 in³ to advance and 1.15 in³ to retract. Length is 3.56 in retracted and 4.55 in extended; weight 4.6 lb. Workholding circuits often run below 5,000 psi; at 2,000 psi this cylinder gives about 3,520 lb of push and at 3,000 psi about 5,280 lb.
